environmental policy
At DD Exhibitions Ltd we recognise that how we manage our clients and our own waste has an impact on the environment. We are always seeking to continually improve our environmental performance and to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum wherever possible.
Through all aspects of our operation DD Exhibitions Ltd will:
- Seek to minimise the environmental impact of transport use.
- Seek to minimise the volume of waste generated
- Maximise the re-use of materials, recycling and energy recovery from waste.
- Ensure all waste and effluent is disposed of in a safe and responsible manner.
We work closely with our B&M Waste Services who process all our waste through their recycling centre. They issue a quarterly General Recycling Performance schedule, with a detailed breakdown of the materials recycled from our waste, which is broken down into the following categories:
- Paper & Cardboard
- Plastics
- Metals
- Wood
- Glass
- Remaining waste going to Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
The latest report from B&M Waste Services showed that nearly 90% of DD Exhibitions’ waste was recycled.
